shutdown XP faster

Hey guys some times Windows XP takes long time to shutdown or restart your system.
You can solve this problem by as follows:
1.Start your System.
2.Goto Start Menu.
3.select Contol Panel.
4.select Sound,Speech,and Audio Devices.
5.Sound and Audio Devices
6.Sounds
7.Now from Sound Scheme select no sound
8.Click ok
And see the result.
